Metoda isAlphabetic(intcodePoint) a clasei Character determină dacă caracterul specificat este un alfabet sau nu.

Un caracter este considerat un alfabet dacă are următoarele caracteristici:

• MAJUSCULĂ
• LITERA MICA
• TITLECASE_LETTER
• MODIFIER_LETTER
• OTHER_LETTER
• LETTER_NUMBER sau
• Alte alfabete definite de standardul Unicode.

Sintaxă

 public static Boolean isAlphabetic(int codePoint) 

Parametru

codePoint : Este personajul care trebuie testat.

Valoare returnată

Metoda isAlphabetic(intcodePoint) returnează adevărat dacă caracterul este un caracter alfabet Unicode. În caz contrar, această metodă returnează false.
