Acest subiect va discuta despre codurile ASCII și despre cum să scrieți un program pentru a tipări un tabel ASCII în limbajul de programare C. ASCII înseamnă Codul American Standard pentru Schimbul de Informații . Codul ASCII este o schemă de codificare a caracterelor utilizată pentru a defini valoarea elementelor de bază ale caracterelor pentru schimbul de informații în computere și alte dispozitive electronice.
În plus, codul ASCII este o colecție de 255 de simboluri în setul de caractere, împărțit în două părți, codul ASCII standard și codul ASCII extins. Codul ASCII standard variază de la 0 la 127, lungime de 7 biți, iar codul ASCII extins de la 128 la 255 are o lungime de 8 biți. Aceste caractere sunt o combinație de litere simbol (majuscule și minuscule (a-z, AZ), cifre (0-9), caractere speciale (!, @, #, $ etc.), semne de punctuație și caractere de control. Prin urmare, pot spune, fiecare caracter are propria sa valoare ASCII.
De exemplu, când introducem un șir ca „HELLO”, computerul nu stochează direct șirul pe care l-am introdus. În schimb, sistemul stochează șirurile în valoarea lor ASCII echivalentă, cum ar fi „7269767679”. Valoarea ASCII a lui H este 72, E este 69, L este 76 și O este 79.
