Metoda contains() a interfeței List în Java este utilizată pentru a verifica dacă elementul specificat există sau nu în lista dată.
Sintaxă:

Parametri: Această metodă acceptă un singur parametru obj a căror prezenţă în această listă urmează să fie testată.
Valoare returnată: Returnează adevărat dacă elementul specificat este găsit în listă, altfel returnează false.
