Java șir subșir ()

The Clasa Java String substring() metoda returnează o parte din șir.

Trecem pozițiile numere beginIndex și endIndex în metoda subșirului Java unde beginIndex este inclusiv, iar endIndex este exclusiv. Cu alte cuvinte, beginIndex începe de la 0, în timp ce endIndex începe de la 1.

Există două tipuri de metode de subșiruri în șirul Java.

Semnătură

 public String substring(int startIndex) // type - 1 and public String substring(int startIndex, int endIndex) // type - 2 

Dacă nu specificăm endIndex, metoda va returna toate caracterele din startIndex.

endIndex : indexul final este exclusiv

Excepție aruncări

StringIndexOutOfBoundsException este aruncat atunci când este îndeplinită oricare dintre următoarele condiții.

  • dacă indicele de început este valoare negativă
  • indicele final este mai mic decât indicele de început.
  • Indicele de început sau de sfârșit este mai mare decât numărul total de caractere prezente în șir.

Aplicații ale metodei substring().

1) Metoda substring() poate fi folosită pentru a extrage prefix sau sufix. De exemplu, putem avea o listă de nume și este necesar să se filtreze numele cu numele de familie ca „singh”. Următorul program arată același lucru.
